Since 2019, our omnichannel approach, which includes email marketing, as well as Google Ads, Facebook Ads and SEO, has supported Blinds 4U’s business growth. Tasked with scaling the Blinds 4U brand online and increasing its market share, our email automation approach has helped to improve reach.
CHALLENGE:
Achieving cut through in a highly competitive market is always a challenge. Blinds manufacturers have a limited range of products compared to many other types of ecommerce stores. Therefore, standing out with creative content, strong branding and compelling copy to create a more emotive response to marketing is essential. One challenge was to leverage the free sample offer in the best way possible to convert these recipients into customers.
STRATEGY:
Benefitting immensely from an automated email marketing strategy, we identified customer behaviour patterns and various stages of the consideration phase and purchase journey to create data-informed custom email flows. These flows were then consistently refined and optimised based on performance. Paired with welcome flows and abandoned cart flows - essential for any business - our ‘free sample’ flow nurtured recipients with automated follow-up emails offering discounts and additional information. Incorporating a review request flow also helped to boost engagement and strengthen social proof. Our strategy contributed to achieving $28 of revenue per email marketing recipient, an open rate of over 50% and a click-through-rate of 6% in the past 12 months.
